So, I am curious, did you watch Vintage Trouble on Jay Leno’s show tonight last night? I couldn’t wait to let you know my thoughts!
First, I don’t have tv…I mean, I HAVE a tv, but it only plays Netflix and DVD’s. So, because I am already a dedicated fan (yeah, it only took a few days), I drove up the hill to my parents house to watch the show. My mom was very sweet and had the tv turned on to the correct channel, and a nice roaring fire going as well.
Okay, it wasn’t all for me, that is how they keep the house warm, and I had to be quiet because my dad was sleeping on the couch (I have no idea what he was in trouble for this time)! Ha ha ha. Just kidding, he wasn’t in trouble.
After getting through everyone else that was on the show…Okay, I can’t lie, I totally zoned out after the Dare guys, and only waited around to watch the band! I was NOT sorry that I stuck around for Vintage Trouble AT ALL!! Hearing the music is one aspect of it, but to watch them perform live is a totally different experience! I absolutely loved the ‘vintage’ look they had going on! They performed the song “Total Strangers”, which wasn’t my favorite on the album, and in my opinion didn’t showcase them like I thought they deserved. However, you can tell by watching them that they love doing what they do, and that they aren’t just performing, they are giving you a glimpse into their lives (albeit, this isn’t a song that I would want a glimpse of…hee hee).
Let me just tell you, this guy can sing!
He was all over the stage, dancing and spinning around, not a boring gig by any stretch of the imagination! I do wish that Leno would have talked to them longer, maybe given each of them a little bit of time to talk about themselves. I am sure that Vintage Trouble has what it takes to stick around, and I am proud to call myself a “Troublemaker”! You know you are old mature when you start picking out music based on talent FIRST, then looks! Thankfully, these guys have BOTH! I promise not to stalk them, but I will continue to enjoy listening to the album, and check out the bands webpage so that I can grab some tickets to go see them while they tour here in the US this year!
Now, off to my Vintage Trouble dream land…
