OK, so I have been sick this whole week. The weekend youth retreat we went on kicked my butt! (and it also kicked butt, it was amazing!) I wasn't able to get out of bed Tuesday at all, even for the guilt that my mom was exhausted at 5:30 after watching him all day! I couldn't move, barely sleep, not eat. The other day Ben was scrolling through all of these noises on a sleep machine application for his iphone. There was the white noise, jungle, rain, etc. He settled on one that created the imagery of a perfect day: a slight white/traffic noise in the background with an occasional bird chirping, etc. It made me think of a beautiful sunny day at the park in the early spring.
