Anytime I wish that I would have gone another route for my blog with naming it, I have to laugh because my life really is just a series of busy nothings. I mean, sometimes the nothings are somethings, but mostly I just stay so busy and I couldn’t tell you really what I do specifically from day to day. This weekend, Ben had to work Saturday and Sunday and by the end of the weekend I was delirious to entertain the boys who were filthy dirty and full from spaghetti ate with their hands.
It was rich and exhausting. Inspired by a Facebook friend I got a sharpie and drew little fingerstaches on their index fingers. They didn’t really get it… but I did and laughed the whole time I forced them to pose for me. Some days I deeply drag in the goodness, the laughter and the happiness to feel the warmth inside. I inhale it all and want to freeze time so that I never forget. Life really is made up of a lot of insignificant nothings and I want to treasure them.
We are going to the Children’s Hospital in Little Rock to meet with a surgeon about scheduling another surgery for Bear tomorrow. I’d appreciate it if you kept us in your prayers.
