Day 14: I’m thankful that Ben had another birthday.
Life is so precious. Somedays I get caught in the hurry and the quick of life living that I don’t stop and realize how good it is to be living with those I love. There is such a delicateness- perhaps it’s the fading leaves in my yard, browning, colors fading after detaching from the tree- but I feel the painful awareness that life is short.
Day 15: I’m thankful for the Arkansas Women Bloggers that have become community.
I am so very, very blessed. There have been dry, cracked, hard periods in my life and my cup is overflowing today. I loved seeing my Arkansas Women Blogger roommate last night- conversation with her is the kind that I’m inspired afterwords. Heather from Heather’s Dish. Day 16: I’m thankful for the sun and gusting winds today.
“it’s raining Mommy! It’s raining leaves!” Bear yelled at me as I walked outdoors, grumbling at winter boots over wide legged yoga pants not working well. A gust hit my face. I slowed… stopped.
Tilted my head, caught up in the romance of the yellow, orange and red leave swirling in the air. Hundreds of fairies, twirling and laughing… no, the laughing was Bear and Bug running in circles, caught up in the same moment as me. I felt complete.
I want to dance.
