cowboy boots? Check
jeans? Check
teased up hair? Check
too much make-up? Check
straw cowboy hat? where did I put that?
low-cut, super tight, backless tank top? Ch- wait, no…
All the ingredients to go to a country concert! (Also, way too fancy and/or scandalous dresses and designer purses could have made the checklist, but I didn’t have those either.
“Lets have some one-on-one time” Taylor shouted to a crowd of thousands. Wow. I feel special! Now, I don’t want to be too critical, she did rock out to those songs she sings, um, let me think, something about a boy named Drew (I remember that b/c it’s my bro’s name) and (Maddie is calling me, let me ask her quick) “I’m only me when I’m with you”. I enjoyed them. Yes, peeps, I attended a Taylor Swift concert last night if you haven’t figured that out yet. I went with my friend and bride-to-be-in-6-months, Maddie. We went with her other bridesmaids and some friends as a bonding and get to know each other night out. It was a blast! I’ll admit though, the Margarita Man made it a little more fun (bearable?) for me.
Another priceless Taylor Swift quote was “I really try to be a nice person, but if you break my heart… (crowd roaring) or if you hurt my feelings…(crowd gets louder and lounder)” Great kids, write hate songs about your ex-boyfriend and ex-friends when they “hurt your feelings” and sing them to millions. That’ll teach ’em!!! and no concert is complete without a scandalously dressed 8 year old singing along to every song word for word in the seat behind me. She was like the little sister in Mean Girls.
and let me just say seeing her frizzy curls has inspired me that I can rock my curly hair now. Thanks Taylor Swift!
