the lady from Summit’s eye doctor was misinformed about him NEVER OPERATING at another location. She was wrong about him being inflexible. She was wrong to tell me to “find another doctor because there was nothing they could do about it”.
Wrong can be so Right. Well, for me in this case anyways. His surgery is scheduled for a week from TODAY, next Tuesday. Cross your fingers, arms, toes, legs… or please, rather, just pray that his works out. We were told that our insurance will pay everything after our deductible is met, which we’re close to because of therapy sessions. (all the heart stuff was very, very unfortunately out of network)
Want to know the cool thing? I had given up, I was hopeless… then as I was reading a book where they brought a girl back to life through prayer, I suddenly realized that the God I believed could raise the dead, couldn’t, in my mind, fix our insurance problems. I was shocked. I prayed to God, confessing my doubt. Then I called to get my medical records to go to another doctor… and the doctor himself got on the phone and told me he could go to another location. One covered by my insurance… wow. wow. wow. It’s taken care of. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean NOT ON YOUR OWN UNDERSTANDING, in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths straight.” Prov. 3: 5-6
will I ever truly get the beautiful simplicity in trusting, simply trusting, in God?
